Each figure has a distinct silhouette and personality conveyed through posture and gear alone. Johnston’s ability to create instantly readable characters through silhouette — IG-88’s skeletal frame, Bossk’s hunched reptilian stance, Dengar’s bandaged bulk — demonstrated a masterful economy of visual storytelling that made even background characters feel like they had histories worth exploring.
